How to Find the Host Name and MAC Address of your machine
Follow these instructions to find your computer’s Host Name and MAC address.
1. Open the command prompt.
Click on the Windows Start menu and search “cmd” or “Command Prompt” in the taskbar. You may also right-click on the Start button and select Command Prompt from the menu.
2. Type in ipconfig /all and press Enter.
This will display your network configuration.
3. Find your machine’s Host Name and MAC Address.
The prompt will display all information related to your machine. Inside the Windows IP Configuration you will find the host name after “Host Name”, and inside Ethernet adapter you will find the “Physical Address,” which is your MAC address.
