What is Requirements Management for System Engineering?

According to Ian Sommerville, “Requirements Management is the process of managing changing requirements during the requirements engineering process and system development.”

In other words, requirement management for system engineering is a way of collecting, analyzing, refining, and prioritizing all the products or requirements, in the development phase.

The major purpose of requirement management is to ensure clear, concise, and error-free requirements to the engineering team so that they can make sure to detect errors in the system and potentially reduce the project cost as well as risk.

Visure Requirements For Electronic of Tomorrow

Requirements Management for Systems Engineering and Embedded Development presents numerous challenges.  Learn more about how Visure Requirements ALM Platform can help you overcome these challenges.

While at EOT, come to booth M-9738 to meet Micaël Martins, our Visure European Leader, along with our distributor, NOHAU, where they will demo our Visure tool for you.

Micaël will also be presenting: “How to Get Started with a Formalized Requirements Process in Embedded Development” on the IDA Stage from 13:00-13:45 on September 2, 2021.

In his presentation, Micaël will address how to effectively kick start your organization’s requirements management process by applying workflows and defining rules for requirements. It will also include how to maintain them in your embedded applications’ lifecycle management to streamline your requirements management processes and boost collaboration among stakeholders. He will also discuss how this limits the introduction of new bugs while performing maintenance work or while adding new functionality.
