Who is a System Administrator?
A system administrator, or sysadmin, is a person responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems; especially multi-user computers, such as servers. The job title may refer to software engineers specializing in operating systems (OS) maintenance and support. A system administrator may be referred to as a “server admin”, a “network admin”, a “computer systems administrator”, or simply as an “admin”.
