What is IREB CPRE Certification and Why it's Important?
In 2006, the International Requirements Engineering Board (IREB) was founded by renowned Requirements Engineering representatives from business, consulting, training, research and science.
It is the only official way to demonstrate the knowledge and experience in Requirements Engineering.
Since its inception, the Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE) Foundation Level certification has evolved to become the most achieved certificate in Requirements Engineering worldwide.

IREB CPRE Training Goals
Requirements engineering is the key for successful projects. Our three-day training provides the relevant know-how together with many practical examples from our industry projects. The training is based on the IREB Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering, Foundation Level. We offer the optional IREB certification on the last day as part of the training.

- Elicitation: Learn effective techniques for gathering requirements from diverse stakeholders, including customers, incorporating their perspectives, and collaborating with marketing and sales teams.
- Documentation & Validation: Master the creation of clear, concise, and well-structured requirements documents, utilizing appropriate notations, templates, and checklists to ensure high quality.
- Analysis & Modeling: Develop skills in analyzing requirements, conducting impact assessments, utilizing modeling languages like UML and SysML, and estimating effort and time effectively.
- Negotiation & Prioritization: Learn to effectively negotiate and prioritize requirements based on value, risk, and constraints, aligning them with project plans and release strategies.
- Management: Understand how to effectively manage requirements throughout the entire project lifecycle, including tracking, traceability, test coverage, and change management.

IREB Training Agenda
This 24 hours course is typically covered within 3 Days.
The examination for the Foundation Level certificate can either be taken at the end of the training class, or if further study time is required, at a later date. There is also the option of taking the examination online at a certification centre. The cost for the examination is in addition to the course fees.
The examination comprises 45 multiple choice questions to be answered in 75 minutes. The questions are of varying levels of difficulty and therefore assigned differing amounts of points. The candidate must achieve at least 60% of the total score possible to be awarded the certificate.
