Custom integrations can connect an AI agent to your data, but they typically lack governance, traceability, and audit controls out of the box. The VISURE MCP Server is designed specifically for enterprise engineering workflows: every interaction respects existing roles and permissions, follows your defined lifecycle process, and is captured in version history automatically, so you're not rebuilding governance from scratch.
Yes. The MCP Server works with any AI agent that supports the Model Context Protocol, including Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot, as well as self-hosted models via Azure AI Foundry or Ollama. You choose the LLM; Visure governs what it can see and do.
Yes. Visure Server, the database, and the AI layer can run entirely on-premise or in your private cloud. The only connection that ever leaves your environment is to the LLM you choose, and that traffic never passes through Visure. This deployment model is used by organizations working under DO-178C, ISO 26262, IEC 62304, EN 50128, and IEC 62443.
Vivia is Visure's in-app AI assistant: contextual, RAG-based, and built for engineers working inside a document or project. The MCP Server is for external AI agents, letting you use Claude, ChatGPT, or your own model from outside Visure while still operating inside the same governed data model.
